AN INTERACTIVE SECOND BRAIN · LOS ANGELES
A searchable knowledge graph of places across the City of Los Angeles and Los Angeles County—linked to source records, community references, and selected digital projects.
The graph is interactive; its public-data snapshot is dated, not a real-time government feed or a map of legal boundaries.

LOS ANGELES CITY + COUNTY
A visual index for exploring names, jurisdiction relationships, and source records.
Search 99 City of Los Angeles Neighborhood Council areas, 88 incorporated County cities, and 77 mapped unincorporated place names. Select a node to open its source record and any matching community reference.
The node field illustrates documented jurisdiction relationships. It does not display coordinates, legal boundary geometry, search rankings, or keyword data.
Snapshot retrieved 25 October 2026 from City of Los Angeles Neighborhood Council boundary data and Los Angeles County city/unincorporated-community boundary data. Community pages are separate, resident-run references—not government records.
A display label can appear in more than one source classification. Del Rey and South El Monte are retained as separate records where the City and County datasets classify them differently.
WHY A SECOND BRAIN
This Los Angeles place knowledge graph brings together official City and County place records in one navigable interface. Each place node retains its source URL and its documented jurisdiction relationship, so visitors can move from a familiar name to the dataset behind it.
For local SEO and answer-engine readiness, that source-first structure is a practical demonstration—not a ranking promise. Useful local pages still need original information, accurate ownership and service-area facts, and links that make sense to visitors. The graph does not manufacture business locations or imply that every portfolio project serves every place.
SELECTED WORK · LIVE LINKS
Ten featured projects from our public selected-work index. Explore the links directly; the relationship graph groups projects by visible product themes and keeps geography separate unless a local connection is supported.
The public portfolio list is the source for these names. Project descriptions are limited to public titles and page content checked 28 October 2026.

INDEPENDENT NEIGHBORHOOD PAGES
Fourteen live community profiles are available from cityoflosangeles.org.
This is a resident-run community forum, not the official City of Los Angeles website. Its region names do not always match official Neighborhood Council boundaries. We link those references only as community pages, not as government or boundary records.
A PRACTICAL SEARCH INFRASTRUCTURE DEMONSTRATION
The Second Brain keeps geographic entities, official source records, community references, and selected projects visibly distinct. Its purpose is to help people explore the data and understand why two pages are connected.
Relevant, crawlable links can support discovery and context, but a graph cannot guarantee rankings, “link juice,” AI citations, or a place in generative search answers. Portfolio links belong on a place record only when a real, useful relationship is documented. No bulk-generated doorway pages or invented local-business claims are part of this system.
